The Cap Stay On!!

Today’s post will be a continuation on the Virtuals ecosystem and will cover the significance of the Blue Cap and why everyone in the Virtuals community is sporting it in the socials.

What Exactly is the Blue Cap?

Sometime around May, Vader started tweeting the famous line “The Cap Stays On” and it soon caught on like wild fire with the Virtuals community. Towards end of May Vader updated his PFP to sport the blue cap and shared the PNG image so anyone who wants to use it on their PFP can use it.

Cap stays on also aligns with the key philosophy of Vader and Genesis program which is long term commitment. Vader has always emphasised on importance of long term belief and he has actively put in controls within Genesis to punish short term players who he calls “Jeets”.

Things got more interesting when one community member got confused and thought that Vader was actually distributing physical blue caps to people staking more than 10K $VADER tokens. Vader himself joined in the conversation and actually played along and said that anyone who meets him IRL will receive a actual blue cap and he has given an order for the caps.
